  After a recommendation from a local who had enjoyed a steak there, we gave it a go. Sunday afternoon around 4. Quick nip to the lav on the way in, had to walk through a big puddle in the middle of the floor - which the staff clearly knew about as there was a plastic bollard advising customers the floor was wet. WET... That's an understatement. Anyway, needs must so continued on as it looked like the roof was the problem. The next issue was the other puddles which didn't come from the roof if you know what I mean. So decided to leave.... If the lav was like that the food won't be far behind. This was confirmed of the way out.... Scraps of meat in the carvery well past it, and veg looking limp and overcooked. Avoid unless you are really stuck. Ended up going to the chippy nearby who got 5 stars!

  Nice area restaurant. Very nice meal & quick service considering they only had 1 chef. Nice light bite & accommodated what I wanted although not on menu. Thank you.
